Image Critiques and Editing Tips

Become a better photographer

Photography is a learned skill. Whether you enjoy shooting underwater or in your neighborhood on land, you, regardless of experience and photography equipment used, might come to the point where you feel stuck and could use a professional second opinion. You are already doing well but want to do better, reaching a higher level in photographic arts, technique, composition, editing, and thus an overall improved result of your very own photographic expression?

If this is the case, Rico is the right person to ask.
Rico is looking back to 42 years of experience in the art of photography, he has judged various international fine art and wildlife photography competitions, he is the founder of the “Photo Critics” department at underwaterphotography.com and he still serves as a photo critic at DivePhotoGuide’s (DPG) “PhotoLab” and was involved as Photo PRO in Wetpixel’s “Ask the Pro” Series.

Furthermore, Rico has published more than 150 articles about photography and image-editing in various internationally acclaimed magazines. His photographic work even received praise from the NOBEL Organisation.

Testimonials

What Rico’s clients have to say about his image critiques and editing tips

“I was at a point in underwater photography where I knew I could do better, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it by myself. I needed professional support and really good advice. So I booked a review with Rico – I received an intensive photo critique for 6 of my images and profound tips for editing. That was exactly the “push” that I needed! This investment was definitely worth it. For the next problem, I will not wait that long, but ask for professional help immediately! “

“Coaching sessions with Rico would be equivalent to years in the field and at the computer.

“Sometimes one is so focused only at one point of view and be blind for other positions. Rico’s review of my images helped a lot to reflect my intention of the pictures and opens my mind for other points of view. Did I send the message I wanted? What feelings overcome the beholder?… Rico’s image critiques and editing tips help a lot to make good pictures even better.”
